Not much going on, i spend most of my free time online over at Nope Vidya these days, a place where people stream video games that i helped develop. Also, The Ardent Forge, where a great guy who goes by the name lodeclaw (among other people) streams Minecraft.
I also just got me a google+ account. </boringpost>

Ha, some script kiddies found my blog via google, looking for blogs with very little security they can exploit. Then, nothing happens and they left again.
bascially, they were looking for blogs that contained “edit”. Not even a script, but the same mentality as a script kiddie.

*snip from video description*
Still working on another taunt kill video. Havnt been playing as much recently. Kind of annoyed with fraps at the moment. Running TF2 windowed with no borders now for easier access to my other monitor, so fraps decided it wants to record at 1920×600. Thats the normal horizontal size but half the height? I guess i will just have to do some resizing. Cant seem to get it to record normaly while in windowed mode so i guess ill just have to put up with it.
Also, i have a bit of a better Internet connection now. Might be able to upload the next video in a higher resolution.
Website was down for almost a week i think. I guess thats what i get for using almost free hosting. Everything seems to be back and working now though.
I added a blog post on Giantbomb, because im an Achievement Whore. They added Achievements to the website, you gain EXP for getting them… Sounds terrible, and if someone invited me to a website to view pages and gain EXP for it i would call them an idiot, but here i am…
Just realised, i use Stylish to make a few websites wider because they waste alot of space on my 1920px wide screen but my website was only 900px wide. It is now 1050px wide. If you are reading this at 1024px wide then OMG SOMEONE IS READING THIS! Also, i think its time to upgade your 14inch monitor. The few pixels you are missing are probably* just the border area anywho.
*I could check this, but that would make me a good webmaster

Taunt kills in Team Fortress 2, i love them. Other the past week i have been recording and have got quite a collection as you can see here. (may take a while for youtube to process it)
This was all recorded in sourceop.com Valve Maps 1 server which is pretty much the ONLY server ive played in since october 2007. There are a few kills ive got recently that arnt here though, usually because im an idiot and forgot to start recording, or accidently stopped recording trying to start… I record them using Fraps, takes alot of space but i have 600GB free and i find it easier than trying to search through the demos for the kills.
Im probably going to keep recording but for a month or two this time. Get a bigger collection and pick n choose the best of them. I probably should have kept recording and not uploaded this but i kinda liked the flow and how some parts were syncing with the music, so i thought “what the hell” and finished with this one for now. More to come soon hopefully!
Its almost here, didnt realise the release date was so close and i didnt pre-order so im getting it a bit late. Im starting to regret the purchase though, even though it isnt here yet. I want to enjoy it, but i know its not going to be anything like the pre-FFX games. Hopefully i will still be able to enjoy it for what it is, instead of hating it for what it isnt. Alot of people crying the Xbox 360 version dosnt look as good as the PS3 version (artifacts, like you get in jpeg quality pics apparently) but, its not a PC game, so it dosnt bother me. I sit about 10ft away from the TV, not 1-2ft like i do my PC, so i doubt i would even notice. Continue reading »
